Everything it does

My Homeschool Binder works like a physical binder: binders, subjects, sections, and the worksheets inside them. Here is the whole feature set, the same on Android, iPhone, iPad, and the web.

Binders, folders, and files

  • Nested binders → subjects → sections, to any depth.
  • Import PDFs, images, or any other file from your device.
  • Drag to reorder; rename, move, recolor, and delete.
  • Tag files and filter by tag or by type.
  • A built-in PDF viewer and image viewer with pinch-zoom.

Hand annotation

  • Pen with pressure, highlighter, and a partial eraser.
  • Straight lines, boxes, ovals, and typed text.
  • Undo/redo, a width slider, preset and custom colors.
  • Drawings save as vector overlays, so the blank master PDF is never altered.
  • Export any day’s work as a flat, dated PDF for printing or sharing.

Daily worksheets & schedules

  • Mark any PDF as a reusable daily template.
  • Each day you open it creates a dated, re-editable copy.
  • Set which weekdays a sheet repeats, per binder or per sheet.
  • A dashboard shows what’s due today, plus a streak and progress.
  • A month calendar marks each day done, missed, or scheduled — tap a missed day to fill it in.
  • Reminders at the time you choose, globally or per binder.

Photo calendar

  • A dated photo journal of your school year, separate from worksheets.
  • Up to 10 photos per entry, with a title and caption.
  • Browse by month; open any day to see the full-size photos.
  • Syncs to every device on your account.

Family co-ops

  • Share a folder tree of files with other homeschool families.
  • Create a co-op and hand out its six-character join code.
  • Every member can upload, organize, and contribute equally.
  • Pull any shared file into your own child’s binder as a normal owned copy.
  • A shared photo calendar, with ❤️ 👏 😍 🎉 reactions on each entry.
  • The owner can rename the co-op, remove members, or delete it.
  • Requires a free parent account — co-ops are the one feature that is not offline-only.

A binder per child

  • Give each child their own profile, color, and library.
  • Switch profiles in parent mode, or lock a device to a single child.
  • Kids never need their own login — the parent account is the only credential.

Math worksheets

  • Generate practice sheets for grades 1–3.
  • Over 30 Common Core–aligned skills, from addition within 10 to two-step word problems.
  • Pick specific skills or let it mix the whole grade.
  • A parent-gated answer key that always matches the child’s sheet.
  • Save straight into a binder as a PDF.

Scanning

  • Capture physical pages with the camera.
  • Multiple pages become a single PDF, saved right into a folder.

Search

  • Free-text search by file name.
  • PDF text is indexed, so search matches document content too.

Sync & backup

  • Optional parent account syncs binders, annotations, and photos across devices.
  • Everything is keyed to your account — one family’s data never touches another’s.
  • Export a full backup (database, files, and annotations) as a single .zip.
  • Automatic background backups on a daily or weekly cadence.

On the web

  • The same binders, worksheets, photo calendar, and co-ops in your browser.
  • Annotate with a mouse, trackpad, or stylus on a touchscreen.
  • Nothing to install — sign in with your parent account.

Try it in the browser

The web app needs a free parent account. Everything you do there syncs to your phone and tablet, and back again.
